Beyond The 4 Walls marks the triumphant return of the Campbell Brothers to studio recording after a hiatus of far too many years. Since they were first heard outside their church almost fifteen years ago, the group has been on an incredible and often arduous journey, balancing their faith with their desire to take their music to new audiences. The brothers alternatively pluck heartstrings and wail righteously as practitioners of Sacred Steel - African-American gospel music with electric steel guitar and vocals

National Public Radio said that the Campbell Brothers' music is, ''every bit as earth-shattering as (Robert) Johnson's music was in the '30s. It's a soul-stirring blend of gospel and the power and volume of electric blues and rock, a sound as hot as brimstone that kicks holy butt. It's also shredding perceptions of country's signature instrument and the limitations of church music.
The Campbell Brothers are an American Sacred Steel gospel group from Rush, New York composed of three brothers and one son. The ensemble features prominent pedal steel guitar and began as the house band for a House of God Keith Dominion congregation. The pedal steel player, Chuck, uses his own tuning schema. They released several albums on blues label Arhoolie Records in the late 1990s and early 2000s before signing with Ropeadope Records, releasing Can You Feel It? in 2005
These Four Walls is the debut studio album by Scottish indie rock band We Were Promised Jetpacks, released on 15 June 2009 in the UK, and on 7 July 2009 in the US by FatCat Records. The band recorded the album at Earth Studios in Odiham, Hampshire, England with producers Ken Thomas, Joylon Thomas, and Peter Katis.
